Month #19

As our second holiday season as a family came to an end I found myself reflecting on this past year. What a year it has been! We survived our first full year as parents of twins, moved in to a new home, and Nate started his dream job. It has been full of firsts, fun, laughter, frustration, and memories. I cannot dream of a better life for myself or my family. Our days are full of laughs, hugs, kisses, smiles, and happiness.... What more could a girl ask for in life? I am so incredibly blessed.

With Christmas comes old traditions and new ones. We started the month off with seeing Santa (I'll let the picture do the talking on that one), let me just say that they loved Santa from a distance. We went to a Christmas tree lot and bought a small tree for the kids to decorate, walked Cindy Lane, and went to the Zoo lights. Christmas was a blast! The time spent with family and friends was wonderful. Having kids really does make the holidays so much more fun.

Both kids are talking a lot more. Our favorite word that they both say now is please. I know, our kids are so polite. Bronwyn jabbers all the time and Nate can narrate what she is saying so well, it is hilarious. They know what the potty is and even will tell us (rarely) that they went. Bronwyn does this more than Keaton. We made many trips to the park this month and they absolutely love it. They will say cheese for the camera and pretend to take pictures of each other with their play cameras.

Nate's cousin, her husband, and baby came to visit before new years. Her little boy, Merrik, is just three months younger than the twins, so they had tons of fun playing together for a few days.

Well, I guess that's all for this month. I thought I would let the pictures do the talking. I just have to leave by saying thank you to my beautiful family. So, thank you Nate, Keaton, and Bronwyn. Because of the three of you I hold the most honorable titles that a woman could ever have... wife and mother. I love you three with every ounce of me.

Until next month, and happy new year every one.
